Mr Blue and the Empress of Anywhere

Black and white drypoints for a bedtime story by Martin Edmond, 2014.

Mr Blue is a field of blue flowers who lies on his back and looks at the sky. Beside him sleeps Old Man Ghost Gum, the Lazy River winds toward an Ocean she will never quite reach, and then the Dusty Highway arrives.
